LAW REPORT.

Circuit Court—Special Term—Judge J. Y. Allison.

Samuel M. Bonnell vs. Anna Fisk et als: on notes. Submitted to Court, and finding and judgment for plaintiff for $2,626.00.

Weed Sewing Machine Company vs. William W. Long et als: on a contract. Transferred to U. S. Court, and time given to file Bill of Exceptions.

William H. H. Turner vs. Edward C. Heady: on an account. Submitted to jury, and finding for defendant, and judgment rendered accordingly.

Mary S. Knox vs. George P. Knox: civil action to change custody of children. Submitted to Court, and finding and judgment as follows: That the defendant, George P. Knox, do now take and bear the custody of George Knox and Walter Knox, two of their children, and that he be charged with their support, maintenance and education. The Court further order and decree that the plaintiff, Mary S. Knox, do have the custody of Bennie Knox, the youngest child of said plaintiff, Mary S. Knox, and that the said George P. Knox pay and contribute to her for the support of said Bennie Knox, the sum of forty dollars per year. That this order so far as it relates to said Bennie Knox to be and remain in full force for five years from this date.

Experience Herbert vs. Jason G. Gurley: civil action. Submitted to jury who find for defendant, and judgment rendered accordingly.

Samuel Hess, administrator of the estate of Jacob Hess, deceased, vs. J. G. Gurley: civil action. Continued at defendant’s cost.

Thomas Jager vs. Hannah Jager: to set aside deed. Venue changed to Jefferson county.

Benjamin C. Mead, administrator, &c., vs. Adolph E. Meritt et al: on note. Continued on motion of defendants at their cost.

William Watts vs. Adolph E. Meritt: to enforce mechanic’s lien. Continued on motion of defendant at his cost.

The Pleasant Grove and Indian Creek Turnpike Co. vs. Robert D. Gullion: on subscription. Dismissed by agreement, each party to pay his own cost.

Same vs. Jasper Blodget and Samuel Blodget: on subscription. Disposed of same as above.

Mary E. Dunning et als vs. Patriot and Barkworks Turnpike Co.: for Injunction. Submitted to Court, and finding for plaintiffs, and perpetual Injunction awarded.

Jacob Seasongood et als, partners, &c. vs. J. E. Williams: appeal. Judgment by agreement for $146.47.

Perret Dufour vs. Oliver Dufour: on account. Continued by agreement.

Court adjourned last Tuesday evening, sine die.
