Dr. Grant, of Boone Co., Ky., brings his fine brood mare and her family.

Southeastern Indiana Fair.
A Success in Every Respect.
List of Premiums Awarded.

We have only time and space to say a very few words concerning the fourth annual fair of the S. E. Ind. A. S. held here last week, and all that need be can be said in a few words. It was the best fair in every respect that has been held here. The number of entries were larger and the character of the stock, etc., better than ever before. The attendance was not what it has been, except that of Friday, but it was satisfactory. Politics, expositions, etc. drew on the patronage of the society this year. The receipts altogether amount to about $1,500.

Floral Hall was filled and very tastefully arranged, reflecting credit on the ladies who superintend it. Flowers, plants and fruits were the principal attractions of the Hall. We regret we cannot here give credit to the many worthy exhibitors in this department.

Among the stock were two noble herds from Kentucky, one of pure short horns owned by J. C. Jenkens of Petersburg and the other of Alderneys belonging to A. V. Shinkle of Covington.
