LAW REPORT.

Since our last issue the case of Thomas Anderson vs. Merrit H. Brown, has been on trial. There was a difference of opinion between the parties as to the ownership of about one and one-half acres of ground, both claiming it. Anderson brought suit to recover it. The Jury gave him a verdict for the land and one cent damages.

The case of Gurley Munson, the lightning rod man of Indianapolis, came up at this term of Switzerland Circuit Court, but was again deferred. He has been given bond. Munson is charged with forging a note of $100 on Thomas Spencer. Spencer claims he only gave Munson a note for $20 and that Munson raised it to $120.
