Decoration Day in Vevay.
At a meeting of the G. A. R. Post last night the following arrangements were made for observing Decoration Day, Monday, May 31st, (that time being specified by order of the Department of Indiana.)
Assemble at Post room Monday morning and start at 8 sharp for Mt. Sterling, and decorate the soldiers’ graves there. Returning reach Vevay about 11 o’clock.
1 P. M. Assemble at Post Headquarters and at 1:15 march to Court House Square; form possession and march to cemetery. Ceremonies and decoration of graves at cemetery. Return to Court House about 2 P. M. Ceremonies followed by address by Rev. H. Harris.
The meetings at Post Headquarters in the morning and afternoon will be public, and all soldiers are cordially invited to assemble with the members of the G. A. R. and march with the procession. Citizens of Vevay and vicinity generally are also invited to cooperate and join the possession.
The following committees have been selected, and the persons named below are requested to serve without further notice, with the full power to fill vacancies and add to their number if desired.

The committee is requested to select at least thirty little girls and boys to distribute flowers at the cemetery. Citizens generally requested to contribute fowers.
