The business of general interest, that was disposed of during the term, is reported as follows:
Michael Orem was appointed special constable for Craig Township.
In the matter of the petition of Thomas Delaney, for a permit to sell liquors, etc., Dismissed at petitioner’s cost.
In the matter of the petition of William S. Twineham, et als., for location of highway. Petition dismissed at petitioners’ cost.
In the matter of the petition of Lewis Shroeder, et als., for location of highway. Edward Abbot, Royal Aldrich and John Stewart appointed as viewers.
In the matter of the petition of George H. Heady, et als., for location of highway; continued until next term.
In the matter of the petition of the Patriot and Barkworks Turnpike Company, for assessments of omitted benefits. Dismissed at petitioner’s cost.
In the matter of the petition of David Lee, et als., for vacation of highway—viewers appointed.
William M. Patton appointed to have a coat of paint put on the Court House roof.
It was ordered by the Board that no repairs be made, or articles furnished the Court House or any other County building, except by order of the Judge of Circuit Court or Board of County Commissioners. Bills made contrary to this order will not be allowed by this Board.
