Cornelia J. Peak vs. William W. Peak; divorce. Granted. Mrs. Peak given possession of children, real and personal property. Mr. Peak given $200, a lien against the real estate.
Alice M. Summers et als vs. Mary J. Stewart et als, partition suit. Partition ordered and Joel D. Davis, Stephen J. Searcy and Geo. W. McKay appointed Commissioners to divide the real estate. This case was originally a suit for foreclosure—Noah Babb et als vs. Samuel Stewart et als. The case was tried in Circuit Court and appealed to Supreme Court, and was sent back for trial, finally assuming the form of a suit for partition of land.
