John W. Dodd vs. Pleasant Township School Trustee—to enforce mechanic’s lien; finding for the plaintiff. (The matter was afterwards fully settled by compromise.)
John W. Reed vs. Geo. W. Tilley—civil action; verdict for plaintiff, $60 and costs.
Younger Picket vs. John H. Miller et al—to recover real estate; judgment for plaintiff.
Day Lester vs. John Lester—petition to be released as surety on Executor’s bond; granted.
The National Bank of Rising Sun vs. Thos. Higham and others—on note; default and judgment for $899.22.
George W. Herbert and others vs. Josiah and Experience Herbert—to quiet title to real estate; judgment for plaintiff—possession given and 1 cent damage assessed against defendant.
Abigail C. Jackson and others vs. Philander S. Sage, Henry J. Cole, Wm. A. Cross, and others—to enforce vendor’s lien; finding for plaintiffs as against defendant Cross, deciding that plaintiffs should have nine-tenths of the property in dispute, and Cross one-tenth.
