Charles Postel vs. Eprietus B. Platt—to compel cancellation of a mortgage; judgment for plaintiff, and Carroll S. Tandy appointed Commissioner, with instructions to cancel mortgage.

Ulysses P. Craig vs. Thomas C. Jack et al—on note and to foreclose mortgage; judgment for plaintiff, $2,614.90.

William D. Wiles et al vs. Harvey Jack—on note; judgment for $398.85.

State vs. Tude Hicks—rape on Ada Stewart; verdict of guilty; 5 years in State prison. Sentenced Wednesday.

State vs. James Brown—assault and battery with intent to kill upon Eugene Curry. Trial by jury; verdict of guilty and two years in the penitentiary. Case prosecuted by Deputy Prosecutor J. A. VanOsdol, with John T. Ellis and W. R. Johnston. Defended by Works and Shroeder.

At the end of this week Court will adjourn until one week from next Monday.
