State vs. James Weaver—carrying concealed weapons. Plea of guilty; fined $1.
State vs. Andrew Shafer—selling liquor on Sunday. Plea of guilty; fined $10.
State vs. George Scott—selling liquor on Sunday, two cases. Plea of guilty; fined $10 in each case.
State vs. James M. James—assault and battery with intent, etc. Plea of guilty; fined $25.
State vs. George W. Brown—embezzlement. Jury disagreed.
State vs. John W. Moxley—larceny. Verdict of Jury, not guilty.
Benjamin N. Barton vs. Eliza Jane Barton—divorce; granted.
Joseph Redd vs. Harriet N. Redd—divorce; granted.

State vs. Ed Taylor—Assault and battery with intent, etc.; verdict of jury, two years in penitentiary and fined 1 cent.
State vs. Jesse Pearce—Assault and battery with intent, etc.; verdict of jury, five years in the penitentiary and fined $50.
Judge Friedley sentenced Harry E. Orem, a minor, (son of John Orem), to the Indiana Reform School for Boys. Sheriff Simpson delivered him to that institution last Saturday.
State vs. George Adams—Perjury; dismissed.
State vs. Julius Bersott—Criminal provocation; verdict of jury not guilty.
Nancy Jennings vs. Hiram Jennings—Divorce. Granted, and $500 alimony.
State vs. Charles Halgarth—Obtaining money under false pretenses; plea of guilty. The defendant being under 21 years of age, in poor health and probably his mind not sound, the Judge suspended sentence, released him on his own recognizance, to remain at liberty during good behavior and until further order of Court.

The case of Catharine Kincaid vs. Carroll S. Tandy, for damages, was appealed to Supreme Court by C. S. Tandy, he filing bond for $1,000 which was approved.
Frederick L. Grisard vs. Charles A. Grenat—partition. Peter McMakin, Commissioner. Report approved, money ordered distributed, and Commissioner ordered to make deed to F. L. Grisard.
Jane A. Humphrey vs. Harvey Jack et al—on note. Judgment for $337.50.
Gertrude H. Harris vs. Thomas C. Jack et al—on note. Judgment for $800.
Millard F. Wainscott vs. the Phenix Insurance Co. of Brooklyn, N.Y.—on policy of insurance. Suit for $410. Judgment for $400.
John D. Phillips, Guardian of the minor heirs of Mary Bennet, deceased, vs. Samuel B. Stoops, et al—partition. George W. McKay, Joel D. Davis and Abner Gates, Commissioners, made report, which was approved.
Robert Scott vs. Craig School Township—on note. Judgment for $290.
Frederick L. Grisard and William R. Protsman were reappointed Jury Commissioners for the ensuing year.
John W. Banta et al vs. George W. Heady—on account. Judgment for $80.
Court adjourned Saturday.
