Hon. L. E. Smith, Special Judge, opened Court Monday and adjourned Court until Tuesday morning. Judge Bear came up from Madison Monday night and opened Court Tuesday morning and the calling of the docket commenced.
The following is the disposition of cases:
John P. Porter, admr. vs. Edward Porter, et al; petition to sell real estate. Sale ordered.
In the matter of the late firm of Hall & Lewis; report of sale of personal property approved.
Guardianship of Clara Detraz; partial report. Approved.
Guardianship of Francis M. Graham; partial report. Approved.
Guardianship of the heirs of William Bales, deceased; partial report. Approved.
Estate of Matthew Brown, assigned; final report. Approved.
Estate of Wm. H. Turner; partial report. Approved.
Guardianship of Neva Lock, et al; petition to sell real estate. Sale approved. Partial report. Approved.
The following have been selected as Petit Jurors. They were subpoenaed for Monday, May 8: Ferdinand Carver, John D. Brindley, W. S. Welch, H. H. Bakes, Augustus Manser, Grant McKay, John W. Moxley, Geo. W. Cole, Sylvester Walker, Henry Mehroff, Jr., Eugene Stoops, Alfred Driver.
Several cases were compromised and dismissed yesterday and last night Judge Bear adjourned Court until Monday, May 8th.
