Early Court Records
Court of Common Pleas was formed in 1811 and replaced by the Circuit Court in 1814. It handled criminal, civil, and probate cases.
Court of Nisi Pruis, Oyer and Terminer and General Jail Delivery handled criminal cases from 1811 to 1813.
County Court handled county business from 1811 to 1817 until it was replaced by the Board of Commissioners.
