Dearborn County 1826 Land Notices

The following Dearborn County, Indiana land notices were published in Indiana newspapers in 1826. Dearborn County suffered a courthouse fire on 6 March 1826 that destroyed all records. See Dearborn County Reconstructed Records for more details.

A Farm for Sale,

On the north fork of Hogan, two miles from Aurora, and five miles from Lawrenceburgh in Dearborn county, containing 70 ACRES of good land; 40 acres of which are under good improvement. There is a good dwelling house, a never failing well of water, and several excellent springs on the farm. Also, a Horse Mill now in operation; together with several other buildings on the premises. For further particulars, inquire on said farm to STEPHEN J. PAIN.

To all to whom it may concern.

Notice is hereby given, that I will apply to the Dearborn Circuit Court at their next term, to be held in Lawrenceburgh, to have a division of the following lots to wit: Out lot No. 7 in the town of Hardinsburgh—a piece of ground lying in the south west corner of Section No. 2, Range 1, west of West street, in the said town of Hardinsburgh, supposed to contain one acres and a half—and in-lots Nos. — as set forth in the deed made by John St. Clair Jr. and his wife, heirs of Henry Hardon, the original proprietor of the town of Hardinsburgh, to James M’Kinney.

I will also apply to said court to have the Streets and Alleys in said town of Hardinsburgh opened according to the plat thereof.
