Situated on York Ridge, near Tanners creek, Dearborn county, on which there are Forty Acres of cleared land; 12 acres of meadow; a good hewn log house, sufficiently large for the accommodation of a family, together with a barn and all other necessary out-houses. There are also on the land a bearing orchard and good sugar camp, and several large and never-failing springs. The above land will be sold low for cash only. SHERIFF’S SALE.
By virtue of sundry executions & Venditioni exponas to me directed from the Clerks office of the Dearborn circuit court, I will expose to sale on the second day of April next, at the Court House door in the town of Lawrenceburg, the rents and profits of the following described Lands and Town Lots for the term of seven years, if the same will not sell for sufficient to satisfy the said executions &c. I will forthwith at the same time and place offer the fee simple of the same for the best price it will bring in cash, to wit:
Two-thirds of the Ox Saw mill and lot, No. __. Also Lot No. __ in New Lawrenceburg—also lots No. 18 and 27 with buildings on the same, in the town of Hartford; also the undivided half of the N. W. quarter of Sec. No. 29, town 4 range 3 west, Seized and taken as the property of Noah Noble & Co., at the suit of Daniel Lynn.
ALSO the undivided half of the South East quarter of section No. 20, town 5 range 1 west.
ALSO—Two in Lots with the appurtenances thereon in the old Town of Lawrenceburgh No. 33 & 34, also one lot in the town of Hardinsburg, taken as the property of James Dill at the suit of Dunnell, Lyman and Co.
ALSO—In Lots in Lawrenceburg No. 53 & 54 seized and taken in execution as the property of David P. Shook, at the suit of Worle & Jennings.
ALSO—Ten acres of land commencing at the North west corner of Jacob Brasher’s 4 acre lot, and the North east corner of Amos Lane’s land, thence west with the line of said Lane’s land, to the corner of Jacob Fielding’s 5 acre lot; thence North at each end, so as to make in the whole ten acres of ground. Taken as the property of S. C. Vance, at the suit of Walter Armstrong against Thomas Longley and Samuel C. Vance.
ALSO—In-Lots No. 37, 51, 52, 29, 31, and half of 50, adjoining High street in the Town of Lawrenceburgh—also the following subdivided in Lots in the town of Lawrenceburg, No. 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 10, 11, 12, 17, 18, 19, 20, 37, 38, 39, 40, 41, 42, 43, 48, 49, 50, 51, 52, 53, 54, 55, 56, 57, 58, 59, and 60. Namely—
South part of In Lot No. 38, in the old town of Lawrenceburg, containing thirty feet front on High Street, and running parallel through said Lot to New Street, with the appurtenances thereon; Seized and taken in execution as the property of Arthur Martin and Robert C. Martin, at the suit of Cornelius Miller, against said Martins, and Jeremiah Finney.
ALSO, the aforesaid South part of In Lot No. 38, and In Lot No. 43 and 44, in the old town of Lawrenceburgh, with the appurtenances thereon, as the property of Arthur Martin, Daniel Davis and Charles L. Brasher, at the suits of John Weaver, David Kerr, and William B. Ewing &c. against Thomas Longley, Ezra Ferris & said Martin, Davis and Brasher.

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN,
That the subscriber will receive written proposals from any person or persons, wishing to rent either of the tenements on the school section in town No. 5, range 1, west, at any time previous to the 8th of September next; at which time the trustees will meet at the house of Eli Hill, on said section, to examine said proposals. The person making the best offer, will be considered the renter, on giving bond with approved security, for complying with the contract. If no proposals should be made, the trustees will on said 8th of Sept. proceed to rent, for the best terms they can, the different tenements on said section. The improvements on the N.W. & S.W. quarters will be rented for one year, with an opportunity of a crop of winter grain; the other two quarters only for a summer crop next season. For further particulars, inquire of either of the trustees.

In-Lots in the town of New Lawrenceburg, Nos. 9 & 10, with the appurtenances thereon, as the property of Isaac Morgan and Robert Martin, to satisfy an order of sale made by said Court, in favor of Stephen Ludlow and Co. for the use of David Elmaker.

Sale of Real Estate.
Public Notice is hereby given, that we shall proceed to offer for sale, at public vendue, at the court house door in Lawrenceburg, Dearborn county, on the first Monday in January next, all the following described Lands and Lots, viz:
117 acres of land, being part of the S.W. quarter of section 22, T. 6, range 1 west, in the county of Dearborn.
100 acres of land, being the undivided half of 200 acres of land, part of section 3, T 5, range one west, in the county of Dearborn, 12 acres of land, being part of section 13, T 7, range 1 west, in the county of Dearborn. Also one in lot and its appurtenances, in the town of Hardensburg, numbered on the plan of said town, twenty seven, in the county of Dearborn. Also one certain piece of land in Brookville, Franklin county, being part of inn lots No. 34 & 35, on the plan of said town lying 33 feet on Main street, in the town of Brookville, and county of Franklin. Also the S.W. quarter of section 33, T 12, in range 13 east of the second principal meridian, in the said county of Franklin. Also the N.W. quarter of section 3, in T 12, range 13 east, of the second principal meridian, in the county of Franklin. Also the N.E. qr. of section 8, in T 14, range 13 east of the second principal meridian, in the county of Fayette, Indiana. Also the fractional sections 32 & 31, T3, north of the base line in range 4 W of the second principal meridian, lying in Martin county, on White river. Also 4 inn lots in the town of Jeffersonville, known and numbered 27, 58, 59 & 61, laying in Clark county, Indiana.
The above described lots and lands will be sold as the property of the heirs of JOHN H. PIATT dec’d, by virtue of a special law of the state of Indiana, and an order of the court for the settlement of decedent’s estate in and for the county of Dearborn. The same to be sold for cash in hand.
