The spelling school held at this place Friday evening. December 22d, was a grand success. The order was fine; spelling not easily surpassed. E. L. Cannon was the champion. The school is in fine condition, under the supervision of A. F. Bruce, who has taught four times for us. The following is the grade in deportment and scholarship:
