Craig Township Republican Convention.
Braytown, Ind., March 13.
Pursuant to notice the Union voters of Craig Township met in Convention at Braytown; and organized by the selection of Wm. Anderson Chairman, and F. J. Bellamy Secretary.
After the transaction of preliminary business, they proceeded to the nomination of candidates to fill the various Township offices, with the following result:
Justice of the Peace—Martin Higgins.
Township Trustee—John Lauderbaugh.
Constables—Jos. Adams, John Walters.
Township Assessor—Edward S. Kern.
Road Supervisors:

- District No. 3. George Taylor
- District No. 4. John Jester
- District No. 5. Frederick Detraz
- District No. 6. Timothy Harper
- District No. 7. David Bray

James K. Reed was appointed members of the Executive Committee on the part of the Craig Township, vice Daily, removed.
On motion the Secretary was instructed to furnish the Vevay Reveille with a copy of the proceedings of the meeting for publication.
The Convention then adjourned.
